
Dr. Zahra Sheriteh
BDS, MFDS, MSc, MOrth, FDS (Orth), FRCD(C)
Bringing international expertise and great energy, Dr. Sheriteh is an Associate Doctor at South Surrey Smiles. Originally from London, UK, she moved to Vancouver in 2022 and has continued to build on more than 17 years of clinical experience in orthodontics.
She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Bristol, where she was awarded the Dental Gold Medal for graduating top of her class. She then completed her specialist orthodontic training at King’s College London, earning her MSc in Orthodontics with Merit, reflecting outstanding academic and clinical achievement. Dr. Sheriteh subsequently undertook an additional advanced fellowship in multidisciplinary orthodontics, further enhancing her expertise in complex orthodontic care.
Her credentials include Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth), and Fellowship in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCD(C)).
Dr. Sheriteh values the collaborative nature of orthodontics and believes strong teamwork leads to the best patient outcomes. She is passionate about evidence-based orthodontics and staying current with the latest advances in the specialty to provide patients with the highest standard of care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Sheriteh is a certified yoga teacher in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga and brings a calm, thoughtful approach to clinical practice. She is also passionate about meditation, breath work, and giving back through organizations such as UNICEF and Food Banks Canada.
